I’m on a quest to highlight independent/gospel doing great things and today it’s Dr. Tracee Perryman
Tracee Perryman, PhD is a community leader and musical performer who promotes resilience and the audacity to “aim for the stars” in multiple arenas. Initially Dr. Perryman helped individuals overcome life challenges through developing a non-profit corporation, Center of Hope Family Services, Inc., which implements responsive, evidence based social programs, and through public advocacy.
She increased the reach of her contributions through conducting empirical studies that identify risks and resiliency specific to vulnerable groups. Most recently, Dr. Perryman integrated her practice and research experience to produce inspirational music that inspires individuals to persevere in adversity. (Source: Facebook.com)

Last year I had the honor to meet Tracee L. Perryman when she came to the studio seeking information on expanding her ministry. I was intrigued because she composes and records her music with very little assistance and is quite the perfectionist too. So, I invited Dr. Perryman back to talk about her journey, why she wants to go beyond the local area and to take a listen to a couple of songs she’s retooled and worked on.
