Tomorrow Praise 102.7 is once again participating in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor. Joining the walk is Jacky Clark-Chisholm… One of Detroit’s own Clark Sisters! Jacky has such a passion for St. Jude and we had a chat about why, and featured a special song she’s singing called “Cover Me,” dedicated to the Kids at St. Jude:

During Praise in the Park this Saturday, you’ll hear Mattie Moss-Clark grandson Larry Clark! Larry is not only an amazing psalmist but has a new CD coming out August 14th that features a duet with the late Mattie Moss-Clark, a compilation with the Clark Sisters and more. Check out our conversation here… and come out and support your local artists!

Today Dorinda Clark-Cole stopped by Praise Detroit and we had time to catch up on her extremely busy life which includes the new CD, “Living It,” and one of the cast members of the much talked about, “Preachers of Detroit.” I confessed that the show made me angry at points, but I have watched it. We talked about the impact of the show as well as the testimony behind her new CD project.

“Living It” is in stores and online now. Preachers of Detroit’s final episode is April 24th at 8 eastern time
I told Jacky Clark Chisholm that I don’t know a Clark, Sheard, Moss, Cole or anyone slightly related to gospel great Mattie Moss Clark, who isn’t gifted musically.
Today, we celebrate Jacky’s solo project due out later this year and her new single called My Season. We talked about what it’s like to sing solo after leaning on your sisters for so long, how My Season came about and how she is loving and embracing her busy life.
