Kierra Sheard: Pay Attention & Look Around … The Lord ‘Is’ Doing A New Thing

I had the opportunity to speak with Kierra Sheard about her new project, 5-years in the making, “Kierra.” We also talked about playing her mother Karen Clark Sheard in the record breaking Lifetime Biopic, “The Clark Sisters: The First Ladies of Gospel” and as a bonus track, her Eleven60 clothing line.

Listen To Kierra Talk About Eleven60 Here:

Off the air, Kierra and I spoke about how the Coronavirus has impacted her family and sadly, her grandmother, Mother Willie Mae Sheard succumbed to the deadly virus on April 19, 2020. At the time of this post, her grandfather is still hospitalized.  We are praying for the entire family.

DeWayne Woods, ‘My Mother Had Me Right After Church Service… I didn’t have any choice but to sing’

DeWayne Woods‘ Twitter page says he’s, “The REAL Stellar Award Winning, Dove Nominated Artist. You know…that one dude…” but he’s so much more. This family man with Kansas City, Missouri roots, is a gifted actor and an anointed singer who sang background for the likes of Celine Dion, Kirk Whalum, Kurt Carr and Detroit’s own Karen Clark Sheard before his mega hit, “Let Go.”

I had the chance to have a great conversation with DeWayne about his music, what’s going on in his world, and his new single, “Friend of Mine” featuring, Anthony Hamilton and Dave Hollister… real friends to DeWayne Woods.
