After announcing his candidacy in a tweet on July 4th, West is dropping out.
Steve Kramer is a get-out-the-vote specialist trying to get Kanye on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina. According to an Intelligencer report, Kramer had people working last weekend to help make it happen.
Kramer told Intelligencer, “He’s out.” Kanye has not made an official statement yet but we’re sure to hear about it when the album drops. (Source: Intelligencer)
Kanye said, “I am taking the red hat off,” explaining that he wore it “as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community.” Also, he says that he only likes “Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.” Oh and he’s never voted in his life.
A 6-year old girl was kicked out of daycare over her “Black Lives Matter” T-Shirt. Journei Brockman, who attends preschool in Russellville, Arkansas, was told not to return to school after wearing the shirt.
Journei’s mother says the head of the preschool said, ‘I don’t like it, I don’t agree with it’, and I would prefer it if you didn’t send her to school in it again” She sent Journei to school the next day with a shirt that had a raised fist on it and when she picked her up was told the shirts encouraged racism and Journei was no longer welcome at the school.
Dolezal said she has received hundreds of messages from people saying, “this is your moment, you’re vindicated” and hopes we can now rework the vocabulary by challenging the race world view. (Source: Washington Examiner)
