Bebe Winans surprised me with a quick visit to the D last week. And of course, he was sharing some beautiful gems that will get you through life’s troubles. He also shares insight on how he keeps his temple right through exercise and meditation. (Alicia West/Content)
The Gospel Music Workshop of America Detroit Chapter is celebrating 50 years of great gospel music and comradery with a live recording, Saturday, October 21st at Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit beginning at 5:30 PM.
I spoke with Pastor Rudolph Stanfield, the producer of this momentous event, about the rich history, the task of getting so many together and the lasting legacy behind what is the GMWA.
Tasha Page Lockhart is on the go on the heels of her brand new CD, “The Beautiful Project.” I caught up with her to talk about this Saturday’s “A Night with Ricky Dillard” concert, the new CD and the special treat just for her Detroit supporters at the Concert Saturday, October 14th at Greater Grace Temple.
I have been glued to my TV on Wednesday night to see what will happen next to Evangelist and Worship Leader Yachecia Holston on MasterChef. The Detroit contestant has been holding her own with each challenge, even showing her 313 flair with the now famous sentence, “Whatchu Gonna Do Is CALM DOWN!”
Last week left our jaws dropped open so I just had to talk to this woman of God and check on her.
