Inspirational Indies with Randi Myles: Eric Deon

I’m on a quest to highlight independent/gospel doing great things and today it’s Eric Deon.

This Detroit native is not a novice to the entertainment industry. He began singing in his father’s revivals, when he was only 3 years old. Before he knew it, he was on his way to inspiring listeners across the United States. With his powerful voice, Eric has moved hundreds of thousands of fans from New York to Los Angeles, even China, as he graced the stage with his powerful voice. He has also written songs for some of gospels up & coming artists.

Eric has all the right ingredients to become a premier artist. He has stage presence, experience, stamina, an approachable personality and most importantly a soulful, heartfelt, silky smooth voice. This phenomenal vocalist, who wants all to know that he loves the Lord, has received from industry notables; Actor/Singer Jackee’ Harry says of Eric, “He (Eric) is a breath of fresh air, vocals are pure and convicting…Grammy-Award Winner Twinkie Clark says Eric delivers a song with the power and precision of a seasoned artist…. He can send you to church and send you into worship as a gospel balladeer”. (Source:

I'm still trying to figure it out too! I'm a child of God that has a lot to say. I've been given a platform on the air to say it but I tend to be a bit lengthy so enter my website. The "confessions" you see on my website are not the gossip kind but rather conversations with artists, authors, speakers and teachers within the faith-based community. Also, my journey has been colorful, rich and sometimes really hard so, I look for answers and respite through writing. My mom wanted me to write a book  and I'm working on that, so bear with me as I fumble my way through. I'm working on balancing my extremely fun work life with my personal life that is filled with challenges these days. I know that God will see me to victory so... welcome to my life. ~Randi
