I’ll Keep Holding On… So Tight

This weekend hasn’t gone exactly as planned. See, my plans were to vaporize into quiet rest… a bit of time with my girls… and then more rest.

He had a different assignment for me. Taking care of my 87-year-young auntie whose stomach went on the fritz Friday night.  We’ve been at St. Mary’s Hospital since then.

I also had my Momsy time yesterday. While giving mom her weekly hand and foot massage she made me both happy and sad by saying, “You know? You look like a Holt.” I said, “I sure hope so mom… because I’m half of one!”

Then as quick as the revelation came, it disappeared as we jammed & danced to Simply Red, “Holding Back the Years.”

I’ll keep holding on

I’ll keep holding on

I’ll keep holding on

I’ll keep holding on

So tight…

My plans may have changed, but I’m gratefully rocking the assignment given.

And, I’ll keep holding on. So Tight.

I'm still trying to figure it out too! I'm a child of God that has a lot to say. I've been given a platform on the air to say it but I tend to be a bit lengthy so enter my website. The "confessions" you see on my website are not the gossip kind but rather conversations with artists, authors, speakers and teachers within the faith-based community. Also, my journey has been colorful, rich and sometimes really hard so, I look for answers and respite through writing. My mom wanted me to write a book  and I'm working on that, so bear with me as I fumble my way through. I'm working on balancing my extremely fun work life with my personal life that is filled with challenges these days. I know that God will see me to victory so... welcome to my life. ~Randi
