Jacob Latimore knew what he wanted to do at a very early age… not that he’s very old at all. In fact, this young man who is the focus of the contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity, is just 17.  Jacob said, “I love performing, this is what I do. I am not forced to do this; I do it because I love it.”

It may have been a given for him though, he’s been surrounded music since birth. Latimore’s father and uncles make up the inspirational quartet The Latimore Brothers.

Jacob is the the focus of Black Nativity, playing the part of “Langston,” who embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey and along with new friends, and a little divine intervention, he discovers the true meaning of faith, forgiveness and family.
