I was watching the Today Show this morning and saw a segment about being addicted to stress. Well, I wouldn’t call it an “addiction” per se, but the last few months have been really stressful for me and I can attest, I’ve often felt like because y’all didn’t see it or hear it on the radio, that I was making it happen with the stress. As if it was fuel to keep moving.
Dr. Adam Perlman said something in this piece that stood out to me.
“…We get addicted to a lifestyle where stress is a regular part of our daily lives, and we think that’s normal… and it really isn’t. It doesn’t need to be the norm.”
